many things…a daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and more. I have one husband, two boys, two parents, seven brothers and sisters, lots of nephews and nieces, friends and even one or two enemies. I have been a pediatric RN for over 20 years and have always been a writer. In the year 2002, I decided to make it official and completed my Masters in Creative writing. I wrote a novel, (still looking for an agent who would represent a first time fiction writer!) do some freelance work and teach writing at Rutgers University. I still work on call at the hospital, because I do love taking care of kids.
I love traveling, reading, gardening, entertaining, writing, talking and anything at all that allows me to be creative. I was born in Chandigarh in Punjab India, brought up in small town Minnesota and have spent most of my married life living on the East Coast—and I love it here in NJ.
Oh–I am a horrible speller, so if spell check doesn’t catch a misspelled word, please forgive my spelling.
